Q: First, congratulations on your comeback! Your sixth album “Sexy, Free & Single” is receiving a lot of love, please tell us about it.
A: (Lee Teuk) Like the title, it tells the story of successful men. The song(s) express(es), «We’re sexy. We’re free. We’re single.» We’ve been hearing that girls will get very giddy from listening to the song(s).

Q: What kind of a song is the title track, “Sexy, Free & Single”?
A: (Ye Sung) This song needs no explanation. We’ll just sing and dance it for you.
(Eun Hyuk) The highlight of this dance, where you clap your hands, is very important. One, two, three~ (song) Uh~ (clap) Uh~ That’s right! This dance is very good for your blood circulation.

Q: Wow, that’s great! Didn’t the world renowned choreographer Devin Jamieson create the dance for “Sexy, Free & Single”? What was it like working with him? Also, how long did it take for you to perfect the moves? (question from French broadcast listener Dominique Conan)
A: (Lee Teuk) If we were to tell you a little bit about our choreographer Devin’s experience, he used to be a dancer for Michael Jackson, he’s in the movie « This Is It ». He’s a very famous dancer that’s worked also with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and Usher. He’s worked with us since our fourth album « Bonamana ». He now knows our style pretty well, we’re pretty in sync with each other, and I can’t help but think our practice sessions went very well together.

Q: Like your comeback song’s title “Sexy, Free & Single”, which member is the most sexy? Who’s the most free, with the most care-free spirit? (question from Vietnamese broadcast listener Lyly, july_rain 152, etc.)
A: (Lee Teuk) Well first, we’ll pick the sexiest member. This is the first sexy member. Okay, pay attention! Shindong got three votes!
(Shin Dong) Me? Me?
(Other members) That’s just teasing him.
(Shin Dong) What do you mean, teasing?
(Kang In) Explain this. Where?
(Ye Sung) This is how I see it. The reason why Shindong got so many votes is…more than sexy, he kind of has a free image…
(Dong Hae) No, I think he’s sexy. I think this pink hair is sexy.

Q: A lot of fans are excited about this album’s promotions because Kang In is back. How do you feel about returning to the group? (question from French broadcast listener Aurélie Giacino, Indonesian broadcast listener Ratnadewi Admajaya, Vietnamese broadcast listener Le Thi Kieu Oanh)
A: (Kang In) It’s so great that I really can’t even describe it in words. For the past three years, the thing I wanted to do the most was to be on stage with my groupmates…it’s like an ongoing dream each and every day. To repay the fans and my groupmates for this opportunity, to receive more love, I will work even harder in the future. I missed you all so much. Thank you.

Q: All ten songs on your sixth album has a unique and attractive charm. Among them, I hear that the song “From U” is especially special. Tell us about this song.
A: (Lee Teuk) Yes, you know how we have these questions being sent through twitter from people all over the world? It’s those very people that we dedicate this song to. We dedicate this song to all our E.L.F.s. To be honest, we receive so much love compared to what we have to offer, and we’ve been constantly thinking about how we can repay the immense love that we’ve been receiving. We expressed this through this little song, and our fans seem to like it very much. So we hope to continue to return the love through not just our songs, but other means as well.

Q: The 10-city, 24-show world tour “Super Show” ended very successfully. There were hordes of fans at the airport to greet you for your concert in France. I’m curious to know how you felt [to see that]? (question from French E.L.F Line President, Delphine Crédot)
A: (Eun Hyuk) First, I think France is incredibly meaningful. In fact, the place I visited when I went on my first vacation alone was also France. Even then many fans came out to greet me. It was so unbelievable. When we went for our concert there, even more people came out so we were very surprised, and very touched as well.

Q: Super Junior is incredibly popular in China and Taiwan as well! Could you tell us about a memorable experience there? (question from Chinese broadcast listener, Li Xue)
A: (Lee Teuk) Because we have our Super Junior M unit, with members actively promoting in Taiwan, when we get in a cab at the airport there, we just tell the cab driver “To SuJu’s dorm/lodgings”, and he takes us directly there. Also, with Dong Hae and Si Won having spent over three months in Taiwan shooting a drama, we see fans following us around in cabs. With the drama shoot lasting so long, we now get fan letters saying, “Oppa, stop the drama shooting and go back to Korea now. We’re out of money.” We think of it as all of your love and so we’ll continue to work harder. Thank you.
(Sung Min) I once almost got lost in Taiwan. I wanted to go outside, because I was locked up in the dorms. Once, after we finished our schedules for the day, I decided to go for a walk downtown, so without thought, I did while listening to music and taking in the sights. Then I realized I was lost. However, fans following me helped show me the way and so I was able to make it back to the dorms safely.

Q: I really love Ryeo Wook’s food pictures that he uploads on Twitter. Do you have any plans to maybe release a cookbook in the future? (question from Vietnamese broadcast listener, Soo Khank)
A: (Ryeo Wook) The truth is that there are a lot of people on diets, and a lot of people who enjoy late night treats. The pictures I post up on my twitter are mainly all late night snacks/treats. If the opportunity comes, I would like to release a cookbook, but have no such plans yet.

Q: Let’s hear what Korean dishes Super Junior would recommend for our KBS World Radio listeners!
A: (Shin Dong) There’s so many delicious food items in Korea. From them, the one I personally love the most is pork. And out of all the pork dishes, pork with red seasonings, jaeyook bokgeum! I really like it, and can make it very well, so please come visit us. We’ll make you delicious jaeyook bokgeum!

Q: In the Super Junior fan club, E.L.F., there are of course many teenagers, and people that are younger than you. To such people, you’re more than just their favorite star, but even figures that helped to shape and guide their lives. This is because they don’t just stop at listening to your music, they try to follow your looks/style and actions. I’m curious to know whether you feel the social responsibility of that, and if you feel any burden and pressure from it? (question from Russian broadcast listener, Daria Dudko)
A: (Lee Teuk) As you know, we’re an idol group. This stems from the word “idol”. Because of this, it’s true we’re very careful and pay extra attention to every move we make and comment we say. We often think about how we need to show everyone the things we weren’t able to show you in the past, more admirable sides to ourselves.

Q: Lastly, could you tell us about what your hopes and aspirations are for the promotions for this latest album? (question from Indonesian broadcast listener Esti Purwanti, German broadcast listener Nancy Roehrdance, etc.)
A: (Lee Teuk) First, thank you so much for sending in your questions from all over the world. This is our sixth album. The number idol groups struggle to get past is the number six. We think it’s one hurdle that we overcame. More than a number ranking, more than what we need to accomplish next, we hope to stick around for a long time together with each other and with our fans. We will also try to send our lively energy to each part of the world our E.L.F.s are in. To those that are out of energy, lacking in vitality…And those lethargic people thinking, “Ah~ Am I even really living my life?”! For all these people, we, Super Junior, will work hard to be a small light, and be the salt in your lives. Thank you!

(MOD POST) HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM RYEOWOOK!

Woot! You are a year older again! I missed it when I greeted you a year ago. 😦

But then, you are now 24/25. Wow, not bad.

I was a Kim Ryeowook biased when I was just starting in Super Junior fandom. He became my bias after Kyuhyun, then Kyuhyun and Ryeowook became tied in my number one spot. He made me like him when I saw him in Happiness music video. I said to my bestfriend that I was attracted with the person who created a heart in that video (it turned out that almost everyone did). Haha. Then, from that time on, I liked him and watched his video, downloaded his songs (those cuts) and watched Attack on the Pin-up Boys which made me fall for him more. Literally, I was screaming like hell when I was watching his character in AOTPUB. I was at Hanna’s house that time. I was shouting, “Oh my gosh, Wookie, ano yan!?” (“Oh my gosh, Wookie, what’s that!?”) I really liked his character.

I didn’t know what happen during SS1 that I started to be a Heechul-biased and left Ryeowook alone. Argh. I couldn’t imagine it. I still like him today. Maybe because I am meant to love Teukie for a year. Haha! =))

Anyway, singing. Acting. Cooking. These are what I liked about Ryeowook. I am looking forward to the day that I would taste his dishes (which Heechul usually talks about). Haha! What else, he is so precious, and my cousin (she’s eight year old) likes him so much. Haha. Blame me, but I gained you another fan in place of me. 😀

It may be not connected (somehow, it is because YeWookChul, haha), I’ll miss Yesung in Sukira. I am looking forward to Hyukjae tomorrow though, but my sister and I were happy whenever Yesung talks to Teukie during break time in Sukira, and he was so noisy. Haha! Awkward DJ, but we got used to him. He always wore pretty clothes and they suited him always. I love it. I will miss his soothing voice during broadcast. And his dork side whenever he was waving at the camera and showing stuff.

Also, I will miss Heechul’s Youngstreet. I rarely watched it, but then, I always see GIF’s of Heenim dancing or doing something crazy, and I would miss it. Aw.

But at least they can continue 5jib preparations then. 😀

100314 Leeteuk’s cruel way of breaking up
Leeteuk: When you break up with your girlfriend, how do you do it? Do you still remember?
Eunhyuk: I can remember some.
Leeteuk: I have too many to the extent I can’t recall any.
Eunhyuk: Er…… I wouldn’t say I have a lot, but it’s because it’s been too long. I can remember some which was recent, but in fact, I wouldn’t want to remember, such painful memories.
Leeteuk: How did you initiate the break up? Phone or face-to-face?
Eunhyuk: Er…… We meet up, it’s more polite.
Leeteuk: Yea it’s more polite, but I usually call them.
Eunhyuk: Doing this makes you look like you have no confidence.
Leeteuk: Nope, it’s the love which is fading away, not the confidence level. So I call her and say, “I dislike you, this is the end of us. Byebye” Like this, but will also get scolded badly.
Eunhyuk: Yea, you will get scolded for breaking up, but I won’t recall anything about the breakup.
Leeteuk: Why? There were so many beautiful memories…… Did you do something wrong to the girl? (T/N: teuk meant if hyuk had somethinglike cheating on the girl. something like that)
Eunhyuk: Nothing fancy to be remembered, all of them are bad memories.

100314 Innocent foreign kid
Leeteuk: Super Junior-M’s Henry bought a earpiece when he was in Korea that time. The packaging wasn’t easy to tear apart, so he used a scissors to cut it open. When he opened the packaging, he found out he cut the earpiece also, so he had to buy a new one. What a waste.
Eunhyuk: Oh, I know about this, the earpiece can’t be used anymore.
Leeteuk: So, this kid who thinks that since he is a foreigner, he should be able to ask for a replacement if he asks them, so he went over and said, “This… wire… broke, could I change for a new one……” and the salesperson said, “I’m sorry, but we have a lot of customers like you.”
Eunhyuk: Yea, the packaging nowadays are so tight, and accidentally cutting the contents while opening the packaging really is infuriating.
Leeteuk: When Henry heard what the salesperson said, he naturally said, “Okay, I’m sorry.” and walked off.

100316 Leeteuk who got scraped by Eunhyuk and Junsu
Leeteuk: When we were still trainees, you and Junsu cheated me of my food money. I sweared that I must get back my money before I hit 30 years old. For five years I was trampled under you guys, especially Junsu, who earns more, so I must get my money back.
Eunhyuk: Recently when I saw him, we were just chatting and I went, “hey, since you earn more than me, should you do something?” and he replied sincerely, “I will treat you to a meal when there’s a chance,”
Leeteuk: Whoa! He improved so much.
Eunhyuk: Really really!
Leeteuk: When we were trainees we would take the bus home at night. When we alighted at the interchange, Eunhyuk and Junsu will say, “Hyung! We want to eat buns!” and they would pull me along with them. When the buns they ordered are ready, the bus they needed to take would reach the station, then both of them will shout, “Hyung! The bus is here!! We will go first!!” and they would run towards the bus with buns in their hands.
Eunhyuk: We didn’t have money, and miscalculated the time and the bus fee. (T/N: In Korea, if you change buses within 30 minutes, it’s free [according to KSH])
Leeteuk: Aish, so sad, and there were so much beverage money, those were such a routine.
Eunhyuk: Why does this person remembers all these things.
Leeteuk: Thinking of it, I’m regretting. You told me, “I don’t have money…… Hyung you are so rich,”
Eunhyuk: You look like a rich man’s son.

100321 Eunhyuk’s pig-like noise when sleeping
Eunhyuk: I have a bad habit while sleeping, and I only got to know it recently. Afew days ago, when I went to do a facial, I fell asleep. It isn’t a deep sleep, but just a nap and I was half-awake. While I was sleeping, I was making noises which sounded like a pig. Even I was aware of it. I was afraid that the person will laugh at me, so I didn’t dare to open my eyes, and was half-awake all the time, so embarrassing.
Leeteuk: Hmm, your own noise woke you up.

100404 Eunteuk who spoke to cats
Eunhyuk: I have a dog called Choco, whom I’ve raised for a very long time, since high school. When I break up with my girlfriend, I would complain to Choco. My girlfriend used to play with Choco, so I told him, “Choco sorry, from today onwards you wouldn’t that noona anymore”.
Leeteuk: I usually return to the dorm at night, and everybody is out but there would be cat. The cat always ignore me, and I would say, “Hey, you come over here.” When I say this, the cat will run away and I would chase after it, and make it sit down. “You sit down, hyung has something to say. Aren’t you tired? Hyung is also very tired.” Although it doesn’t speak, I could feel that he understood me.
Eunhyuk: Yea, when humans speak, they will stare at you. As time goes by, they would understand you.

100405 Eunhyuk and Yesung who argued to buy clothes at a store
Eunhyuk: I always visit the same clothes store with the members, and if I buy something from the store, after afew days, Yesung will visit the store and ask the owner what I had bought, and bought everything I bought. After afew days, I would go to the store and ask the owner what Yesung had bought. This cycle continues, with an unseeked agreement. (T/N: What hyuk meant was that they didn’t “agree” to do this. xD)
Onew: Aish, buying the same thing, what a waste of money
Eunhyuk: Yea, I’m regretting it……

100406 Donghae who swears to be successful
(Guest DJ Donghae, sits at the side without speaking, even guest Hong Kyungmin can’t stand his silence, and asked him about blind dates, just to make him speak)
Donghae: I’ve never tried blind dating, but if I have a girl who I like, I will definitely create many surprises.
Eunhyuk: What, you want to surprise her when you meet her for the first time?
Donghae: If I really really like her. I’ve never went for a blind date, so I don’t know how it feels.
Kyungmin: What surprise are you going to plan for her?

Heechul Thinks IU is a Traitor?

The title means no offense, guys. Haha. Just a funny caption. Glee. Gosh, just read below and see what I’m talking about. LOL

On the 25th, a picture of Heechul and IU was uploaded on to Kim Heechul’s Young Street radio’s photo gallery. Though they usually display cute affection in their photos, this time it was a different story.

In the photo, Heechul is standing away from IU and the reason is explained by the caption. The caption reads, “I treated you so well. Where do you think you’re going? ㅠㅠ I waited every week, thinking, we’ll get closer next week, we’ll get closer next week. But where are you going now? Chin Chin radio? You are a traitorrrrrr~~IU………….I’m not going to even listen to IU’s logo song!!! IU!!!!!!!!!ㅠㅠㅠㅠ”

In the second photo, he is watching over IU recording in the radio show. The third one shows him talking about IU to the people at the radio show in the studio.

Since IU is temporarily taking over Taeyeon’s spot on Chin Chin radio, she has to leave her regular guest spot on Heechul’s radio show. The worst part is that Chin Chin radio is Heechul’s rival show because it is aired at around the same time. Heechul showed up at another radio show IU was on and described what kind of a traitor she is.

Heechul Intrudes At the “Ten Ten Club”

Because of Mblaq G.O, Super Junior’s Kim Hee Chul intrudes into SBS ‘Sweet Sorrow’s Ten Ten Club’.

On the 23rd, Kim Hee Chul unexpectedly appeared on ‘Ten Ten Club’. When asked “What brought you here’, he replied, “I’m here for K.Will, a singer I like, yesterday IU who hurt me and Mblaq’s G.O who only hurts me”.

“I met G.O at last year’s SBS Gayo DaeJeon. I like people with mustache and G.O has a mustache too so I liked him. We exchanged numbers and said we would keep in contact, and G.O was, “Buy me food once”. But whenever I called him out to eat together, he would always say “I’m sorry, I have to go eat with Rain hyung”, making G.O flustered.

Also, “I asked him to come onto my radio but he said he was preparing for his album, when his album comes out he’ll come (to my radio) but here he is.”

On the other hand, Kim HeeChul has his own radio show, “Kim Hee Chul’s Young Street” and is preparing for Super Junior’s album to be released in May.

Leeteuk: Although our Shindong is chubby, he has his own personal style. Therefore he was in a dilemma, whether to slim down or not. So, he went to a fortune teller, and when the fortune teller saw him, he said to him angrily…

Eunhyuk: Recently, when we were shooting our MV in the studio, Big Bang was coincidentally shooting their japanese MV in the room beside us. When we were eating dinner, Shindong ate finished our meals, and went to Big Bang’s room and ate their rice also. He came back showing off Big Bang’s curry rice was very tasty. We also wanted to try it, but were too embarrassed. Sorry, Big Bang.
Leeteuk: No, they had finished eating. Shindong ate their leftovers, so embarrassing.
